Don Cant

Donald has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services and real estate industries. Most recently, he spent over 20 years in senior legal and regulatory compliance roles in wealth management and capital markets at several Canadian chartered banks. An accomplished risk-management professional, he has in-depth knowledge and experience in operations, compliance, governance, and building and developing effective relationships with key regulatory organizations. Donald also has valuable real estate experience working for national firms where he assisted with their real estate portfolios.

At Equiton, Donald is responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance matters at the Equiton Group of Companies.

Donald has an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Osgoode Hall Law School (York University). He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario.
